Tenerife was the last holiday we had together but it was the first time we had made plans for our future in over 20 years, we thought that all was well with the silent partner in our marriage and life was looking good. Little did we know that less than three months later that partner would rear it's ugly head and take you away but nothing can ever take away the laughter, smiles and happiness we had for that short time. The cancer left me heartbroken, it tore my soul out, it rampaged through our life and tried so hard to destroy but all it succeeded in doing was making our love stronger. In the end we couldn’t stop it but because of it I have the best memories of you forever. Cancer didn't win, it helped us see what was important in this life, so maybe just maybe I will get to fulfill some of those dreams of yours so that when we meet again I will have an eternity to tell you about them.
